Knoblock Children Safety Program

We are please to introduce the Knoblock Children's Safety Program that will be for the welfare of all of the campers that come to WABC, especially children.  As we evaluated some building projects over the course of the next five years we were burdened with getting bathrooms added on to all of the cabins.  We have heard so much about what a good idea it was to put bathroom in between cabins seven and eight.

Dr. Frank Knoblock, a former MAM board member and member of Branson Bible Church, was a dentist here in Green Forest and had a love for people and children until his passing in December 2005.  Along with being concerned about their teeth, he was also concerned about their physical safety.  But most important their spiritual safety—where were they heading?

Will you join us in this endeavor?  There are six cabins that are needing bathrooms.  Would you be interested in contributing to the building of the first bathroom addition to girls cabin #4, maybe as an individual or a church?  The estimated cost for each bathroom is $6,000 for a total goal of $36,000.  We started the building of the first cabin bathroom in March 2007

UPDATE

PRAISE THE LORD!!!

(October '07)

Cabins 2, 3, & 4 bathroom's in-ground plumbing has been installed and

the concrete floors poured this past September.

Cabin 2 bathroom has been started by three SOWERS couples and

should be completed by the middle of November!

Cabins 3 bathroom will be started by Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church,

Harrisonville, MO on November 1st thru the 4th.  They are planning

on getting the building in the dry and that leaves the inside

to be completed during the winter months.

We are hoping that Cabin 4 bathroom will be built in the spring of 2008!

Thank you Lord for providing the volunteers!!

(August '07)

The Lord has supplied the funding yet again for the start of more bathrooms.

To be exact, a couple sent a donation of $10,000 this past July for the completion of two bathrooms.

So, starting now we are in the process of forming and setting the foundations for three (3) bathrooms.

There is a work week scheduled September 17-21.  The men of Sherwood Bible Church

are scheduled to be here to get all three bathrooms in the dry.

If you are available anytime during that week and would like to help out let us know.

Food and lodging is available all week.  At the end of the week is our

Father / Son & Men's Retreat (Sept. 21-23), so come early, help out,

and then relax and rejoice with the Lord in how He blesses!

See the newly revised bathroom plan above.  God provided

us with donated refurbished fully enclosed shower units!

Thank you to Mr. David Holdworth and Pastor Bob Baier of

Antioch Bible Baptist Church, Gladstone MO,

for the donation of up to 10 fully enclosed and

accessorized refurbished corner shower units.< /p>

Cabin 1 has a completed bathroom!

Thanks to several volunteers from the RVICS and SOWERS!

This bathroom was thoroughly enjoyed by one of the families at Family Camp!

We have decided to hold off on the second bathroom until Sept. 07.

At this time we are planning on the possibility of building two bathrooms

with the help of some men from Sherwood Bible Church.

(Sept. '06)

The Lord did answer your prayers!!

We just received another donation from a church in Arkansas

that will help us get the second bathroom completely built next spring!!

We will be getting the second foundation ready this fall!!

Let's continue to pray that there Lord will provide the funds for the third and forth bathrooms!!

(Aug. '06)

We received a monetary gift from an individual to completely build the first bathroom!!

We are looking at installing the foundation this fall,

There will be five (5) RVAC couples coming in the early spring of 2007 to help build.

Please pray with us that the Lord will provide enough funds for a second bathroom.
